Description

Spring and Summer season are “galaxy seasons” for astronomers in Northern Latitudes as Earth tilts away from our personal Milky Manner galaxy, and we get a greater view of galaxies in deep area. This is among the nearer galaxies, M106, a spiral galaxy positioned within the constellation Canes Venatici (the looking canine) not removed from the bowl of the Large Dipper within the Northern Sky. M106 lies at a distance of 23.7 million mild years and is comparable in dimension to the Andromeda Galaxy (M31).
