Description

Lovely, clear night time sky over our campsite in Klamath County, Oregon, final night time. Sudden shock have been a number of meteors, one captured close to the middle of this picture. American Meteor Society (https://www.amsmeteors.org/…/meteor-activity-outlook-for-j…/) reviews “the June Bootids (originating within the constellation Bootes, which incorporates the very brilliant star Arcturus) are often a really weak bathe that sometimes produces outbursts.” I counted four within the about one hour that I used to be observing.
